I still don't get how this "mutual access", "mutual subscriptions", "also has/gives accesss" and "other suscriptions" work in Dreamwidth.

Seriously, I cannot be that dumb, right?

I don't get it either. I think it's roughly equivalent to people who've friended you and you've friended back, but I would't swear to that. If you give them access, you're saying they can read your posts; if you subscribe to them, means you want to read their posts? That's what I get out of it, anyway. "Mutual" would mean you're reading each other's posts?

Yes, it looks that is the way you describe it, but, I have a friend whose posts I can read on LJ but I can't read them here. She uses crossposting. I gave her access and she gave me access so we are in the mutual access category but she is also in "other subscriptions" which totally confuses me.

I wish I knew what everything means.
